These appendices are lists of indicators for evaluating the impact of leadership development programs. Among the many specific areas addressed are: collaboration, communication, courage/confidence, cultural competence, knowledge development, leadership in action/demonstrating leadership, leadership development, personal development, perspective development, professional development, skill development, visibility, networks, partnerships, community change; community decision-making; community leadership; engagement/participation, knowledge development, public awareness; resource development; and social capital. Each category is followed by one or more yes/no questions that practitioners may ask about their projects. Concrete and direct, these lists may be useful in sparking thinking among stakeholder groups about leadership as it relates to their own mission and programs.
