Heinz Endowments

The Heinz Endowments is based in Pittsburgh, where the region serves as a laboratory for the development of solutions to challenges that are national in scope. Their mission is to help our region thrive as a whole community — economically, ecologically, educationally and culturally — while advancing the state of knowledge and practice in the fields in which we work. As reperesented by their five grant-making programs, Heinz Endowments emphasizes: Arts and Culture; Children, Youth and Families; education; environment; and Innovation Economy. The Arts and Culture Program works to create an outstanding cultural ecology that is accessible to all the citizens of the region.
