Croteau Michelina - Artist Profile
A MA graduate,I Michelina ( in art Michel) Croteau, am an International artist. I have painted for years the landscape of the Italy and then New England seacoast and also themes inspired by my passion for Italian and Spanish culture.In 2006 I was invited in the Italian Riviera village of Valloria -an international open air expo of door-murals- to paint a mural. There I have painted the mural 'Origami for Peace', which has became an interactive piece of art. Visitors to the Italian Riviera town of Valloria are invited to paint their origami next to the ones the artist painted and leave a message of peace. Taught and painted in USA for years the landscapes of New Hampshire and themes inspired by my Italian heritage. Recently, I have received the great honor to be selected to participate to” the X Edition of the Florence Biennale will be held October 17 to 25, 2015 in Florence Italy.
A member of NHAA, I donatemaby of my works to humanitarian causes...like the NH Restore, the Arts Connects NH, and others causes.
